Superior Grocers currently operates as one of the largest Independently-owned grocery chains in Southern California. We effectively upgraded them to LSF 9.0.1.x on IBM’s iSeries Platform from their previous 8.0.3 Lawson Software® S3 Financials and Procurement applications.
In addition to the upgrade, On Time Consulting Services, Inc. designed and delivered the following interfaces using ASP 2.0 Webforms and Microsoft’s SQL Server 2005 Sequel Server Integration Services (SSIS):
· Payroll Journal Entry from KRONOS Workforce Central 6.1 to Lawson Software® GL
· Garnishment invoices from KRONOS Workforce Central 6.1 to Lawson Software® AP
· TCI Category Analyzer’s Bill Back Manager’s Rebates and Promotions Invoices and Customers to Lawson Software AR
These interfaces were Superior Grocer’s first experience with Microsoft’s SSIS packages in MS SQL Server 2005. For this reason, proper security was deployed on the source system servers and the SQL Server instance of the SSIS packages. Upon successful completion, email notifications are sent to the AP and Payroll accountants. Upon failure, email notifications are sent to the appropriate IT personnel, who can correct the cause of failure. This upgrade project began in April 2009 and successfully concluded in September 2009.
